Assessment

Anuvia is one of the area’s leading providers of substance abuse assessment services designed to diagnose and refer those with a substance abuse problem to the help they need. Prior to entering outpatient treatment services at Anuvia, each client has a confidential comprehensive clinical assessment. Our knowledgeable, caring counselors have years of experience guiding clients and their families. Confidential assessments are provided on demand Monday through Friday. Clients are seen on a “first come, first serve” basis from 8am to 4:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8am to 1:30pm on Fridays. You are encouraged to arrive early as only a certain number of assessments can be completed each day.

Assessments are offered in Spanish Monday through Friday by appointment only.

Short-Term Treatment Options (a minimum 0f 20 hours)

Short term treatment is designed for clients with a mild substance use diagnosis in need of a minimum of 20-hours of support and education. Program Hours: Group meets two times per week for five weeks; day or evening hours are available. A payment plan is available; no sliding fees.

Longer Term Treatment (a minimum of 40 hours)

The longer term treatment program, meeting twice a week, offers psycho-education and treatment. Clients are expected to attend 16 AA/NA 12-Step meetings to explore the benefits of ongoing recovery support. Morning and evening hours are offered. A payment plan is available; no sliding fees.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides treatment for clients who need additional structure and support. It consists of Primary Care, which meets 3 times weekly for 12 weeks, followed by an optional Continuing Care, meeting once weekly for about 6 weeks. Three-hour sessions include psycho-education and group therapy using the Matrix model. Clients are expected to attend 12-Step meetings to explore the benefits of ongoing recovery support. Client needs determine length of treatment. Additional services include: multi-family group, individual counseling, crisis intervention and case management. Aftercare Group is provided weekly for clients required by specific agencies to complete longer-term treatment. IOP clients can choose either morning or evening sessions. Sliding fees and payment plans are available.

Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment (SACOT)

This Intensive level of care is appropriate for clients who have experienced chronic relapse or those with co-occurring disorders who need a daily structured environment to manage their substance use and mental health issues simultaneously. An Integrated Dual Disorders Treatment (IDDT) model is used and the milieu includes education specific to relapse and co-occurring disorders, group therapy, and case management. Family members and supportive others are strongly encouraged to attend the weekly family program which includes education about mental illness, substance abuse and multi-family group therapy, with the goal of healing for the family as a whole. Initial treatment is a minimum of twelve weeks, five days per week, which decreases as clients meet their personal goals. Program Hours: M,T,TH,F 9:00am – 1:30pm (lunch is provided); Wednesday is Family Day. Program hours- 1pm -5:30pm (dinner is provided). Sliding fees and payment plans are available.

Latino Services

Latino Services offers a variety of outpatient services from a bilingual/bicultural perspective. All programs are conducted in Spanish. Latino Treatment Services offer the following programs: Short Term Treatment (a minimum of 20 hours), longer term treatment (a minimum of 40 hours) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Family members are strongly encouraged to attend the monthly family night which includes education and a multi-family therapy group session with the goal of healing for the family as a whole. Program Hours: (IOP) – Primary Care – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday- 5:30 pm to 9:00pm for 12 weeks and Continuing Care – Wed. 6:00-9:00 for 6 weeks. Longer term treatment – Tues/Thurs 6:00-8:00; Short term treatment – Mondays 6:00-8:30.
