Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is the use of medications, often in combination with counseling, to provide a whole-patient, person-centered approach to treating substance use disorders. Medications used in MAT are approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the programs are tailored to meet each patient’s needs. These MAT medications are safe to use for months, years, or even a lifetime.

Anivia’s MAT program provides:

  • Certain medications such as Naltrexone (e.g., Vivitrol) as part of the treatment for alcohol use disorder
  • Medications like buprenorphine (e.g., Suboxone) to treat opioid use disorders
  • Access to individual and group therapy

Those enrolled in the MAT program may also receive initial evaluations and ongoing psychiatric services through Anuvia’s Medication Management program.

Anuvia’s MAT program does not offer:

Anuvia accepts most forms of insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare. Clients may be eligible for reduced fees on a sliding scale or other financial assistance. Anuvia does not turn anyone away due to inability to pay for services.
