Full Time Substance Abuse Technician
Anuvia is seeking a full time, 2nd shift Substance Abuse Technician for its Detox Team at the Samuel Billings Center. Must have a High School Diploma, or G.E.D. Two years of direct healthcare experience with a preference for substance abuse experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience. This position works 2nd shift; 40 hours per week with a 30 minute unpaid lunch on work days. Professional licensing and certification is not required. Valid NC or SC Driver’s License is required. The SA Tech provides supportive interventions to individual consumers, as well as monitors individual consumer’s progress through services. Services are provided in accordance with established best practice guidelines of the recovery model. Full Time Clinical Counselor—Residential Treatment Team at Anuvia SBC
Anuvia is seeking a full-time Clinical Counselor for its Residential Treatment Team at the Samuel Billings Center. To be considered for the position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
Minimum educational requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Field or other field approved by the NCSAPPB. Two years of experience in substance abuse counseling. Certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor by the NCSAPPB. LCAS is preferred. Good attendance is required to be in compliance with State staffing ratio requirements. Valid NC or SC Driver’s License is required. This position works Monday-Friday, 8.5 hours per day, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch. The primary role of this position is to provide substance abuse counseling for consumers with substance abuse/mental health issues who are admitted to Anuvia’s Samuel Billings Center Residential Program. Anuvia is seeking a full-time Communications Specialist. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and producing written and visual/multimedia content, managing the Anuvia website, developing quarterly newsletter, annual report, and brochures. Must have the ability to coordinate the production of electronic training, build relationships with media and communications partners, generate media advisories/press releases, and proactively pitch to outlets around key issues.
