  • SUD Assessment Counselor

    Anuvia Prevention & Recovery Center – a STAR LRP-approved organization!! – seeks qualified candidates who wish to be considered for a full time SUD Assessment Counselor position at its Main location.

    To be considered for this position, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Social Work or human services or other field approved by the NCSAPPB. Licensed as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS or LCASA) or hold another professional license in the state of North Carolina (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT) and be working towards LCAS licensure. Preferred one year experience conducting comprehensive clinical assessments. Valid NC or SC driver’s license required.

    Normal working hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. This position will conduct assessments and complete other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor at any site where Anuvia offers services.

  • Clinical Counselor – Evening Team

    Anuvia Prevention & Recovery – a STAR LRP-approved organization!! – seeks qualified candidates who wish to be considered for a full time Clinical Counselor. To be considered for the position, qualified candidates must have a Master’s degree in Human Services or other field approved by the NCSAPPB as meeting potential requirements for licensure as an LCAS or a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services that meets potential requirements for certification as a CSAC.   • Part Time Bilingual Clinical Counselor

    Anuvia Prevention & Recovery – a STAR LRP-approved organization!! – seeks qualified candidates who wish to be considered for a part time bilingual Clinical Counselor position working in our Latino Program.

    To be considered for the position, candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Counseling or related field. Candidates are required to be a fully licensed LCAS by the NCASPPB and must be fluent in Spanish and English. Experience working with the substance use disorder population and DWI population is preferred. Ideal candidates must be available at Noon on Wednesdays for Staffing, and Monday and Wednesdays from 5:30p-7:30p to meet the needs of the clients.   • Full Time Clinical Counselor

    To be considered for the position, candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Counseling or related field. Experience working with adolescents with substance use disorders is preferred. Counseling and assessment skills are needed to be successful in this position.   • Full-Time Client Specialist in Detox Program

    Anuvia Prevention & Recovery Center is seeking candidates for a Full Time Client Specialist position. The primary role of the Client Specialist is to provide substance use disorder treatment services for individuals with substance use/mental health issues who are admitted to Anuvia’s Samuel Billings Center Detox Program.

    To be considered for the position, candidates must meet the following qualifications: Minimum high school diploma/GED. Associates Degree and CADC preferred. 2 years of direct healthcare experience with a preference for substance use disorder treatment services or equivalent combination of training and experience. Valid NC or SC Driver’s License is required.

    These full time 1st or 2nd shift positions have a rotating schedule, which may include holidays or weekends, and works each three 12-hour shifts and one 4-hour shift per week between the hours of either 6am and 6:30pm (1st shift) or 6pm and 6:30am (2nd shift).   • Diversion Program Counselor

    Anuvia is seeking a full time Diversion Program Counselor for the Court Services Department. The primary role of the Counselor is to process client intakes, facilitate diversion programming, and maintain program documentation and tracking. The selected candidate must be certified with the NCASPPB. Prime for Life Certification is preferred. Also required are strong interpersonal, oral communication, and written skills, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office. Work schedule is generally Monday-Thursday 10:30am-8:30pm with a 30-minute paid lunch. Must be available to facilitate programming three nights per week.   • Residential Counselor

    Anuvia is seeking candidates for a Full Time Clinical Counselor position in the Residential Treatment Program at the Samuel Billings Center. The primary role of this position is to provide SUD counseling for individuals with substance use/mental health issues who are admitted to Anuvia’s Samuel Billings Center Residential Program.

    To be considered for the position, candidates must meet the following qualifications: Minimum education requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Field or other field approved by the NCASPPB. Master’s preferred. Two years of experience in substance use disorder counseling. Certification as a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor by the NCASPPB is required. LCAS is preferred. Good attendance is required to be in compliance with State staffing ratio requirements. This position works 40 hours per week, which can include weekends and holidays.   • Full Time Clinical Counselor

    Anuvia Prevention & Recovery seeks qualified candidates who wish to be considered for a full time Clinical Counselor position with the Drug Court Team at Anuvia Main. The primary role of this position is to provide SUD counseling for individuals with substance use/mental health issues. Services will be provided in accordance with established best practice guidelines.

    To be considered for the position candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work or related field. Required to be a fully licensed, dually licensed LCSW and LCAS by the NCASPPB. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with substance use disorder and severe mental illness; knowledge of DWI laws; experienced in, and comfortable with, conducting both group and individual therapy via telehealth. This position has a flexible work schedule based on the scheduling needs of the clients and will include some evenings during the week. NC or SC driver’s license is required.

    Anuvia is recruiting for a full time Custodian for the Samuel Billings Center. The primary role of this position is to provide cleaning and general upkeep of the physical environment of the facility. Job requirements and qualifications include a High School Diploma or G.E.D. and at least six months of relevant custodial experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. 2 years of custodial experience is preferred. Professional licensing/certification is not required for this position. This position works Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturday and Sunday.
