  • Residential Counselor

    Anuvia is seeking candidates for a Full Time Clinical Counselor position in the Residential Treatment Program at the Samuel Billings Center. The primary role of this position is to provide SUD counseling for individuals with substance use/mental health issues who are admitted to Anuvia’s Samuel Billings Center Residential Program.

    To be considered for the position, candidates must meet the following qualifications: Minimum education requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Field or other field approved by the NCASPPB. Master’s preferred. Two years of experience in substance use disorder counseling. Certification as a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor by the NCASPPB is required. LCAS is preferred. Good attendance is required to be in compliance with State staffing ratio requirements. This position works 40 hours per week, which can include weekends and holidays.   • Full Time Clinical Counselor

    Anuvia Prevention & Recovery seeks qualified candidates who wish to be considered for a full time Clinical Counselor position with the Drug Court Team at Anuvia Main. The primary role of this position is to provide SUD counseling for individuals with substance use/mental health issues. Services will be provided in accordance with established best practice guidelines.

    To be considered for the position candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work or related field. Required to be a fully licensed, dually licensed LCSW and LCAS by the NCASPPB. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with substance use disorder and severe mental illness; knowledge of DWI laws; experienced in, and comfortable with, conducting both group and individual therapy via telehealth. This position has a flexible work schedule based on the scheduling needs of the clients and will include some evenings during the week. NC or SC driver’s license is required.

    The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes: exceptional communicator, both verbal and written; self-motivated; fast learner; willing to roll up sleeves and jump in; high energy; passion for SUD recovery community; and flexible with scheduling to meet the needs of the individuals served.

  • Part Time SA Tech in Detox Program

    Anuvia Prevention & Recovery Center is seeking candidates for a Part Time SA Tech position. The primary role of the SA Tech position is to provide substance use disorder treatment services for individuals with substance use/mental health issues who are admitted to Anuvia’s Samuel Billings Center Detox Program.

    To be considered for the position, candidates must meet the following qualifications: Minimum high school diploma/GED. Associates Degree and CADC preferred. 2 years of direct healthcare experience with a preference for substance use disorder treatment services or equivalent combination of training and experience. Valid NC or SC Driver’s License is required.

    This part time position has a set schedule, and works each Thursday from 2pm-10pm, with the possibility of working additional hours up to 11 hours per week as needed.   • Full Time LPN

    Anuvia Prevention & Recovery Center is seeking a full time LPN for its Detox and Residential program services. The position is full-time, evening shift, Monday-Friday, from 3p-11p. Applicant must be a North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing. LPN practice involves a directed scope of nursing practice, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. 2 years of experience required, preferably in related setting. Valid NC/SC driver’s license required. This position works full time hours, with an unpaid 30 minute lunch. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with working independently. Some of the duties of the position include conducting admissions assessments; emergency interventions; assisting staff with walk-in client needs; and administering medications.     Anuvia is recruiting for a full time Custodian for the Samuel Billings Center. The primary role of this position is to provide cleaning and general upkeep of the physical environment of the facility. Job requirements and qualifications include a High School Diploma or G.E.D. and at least six months of relevant custodial experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. 2 years of custodial experience is preferred. Professional licensing/certification is not required for this position. This position works Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturday and Sunday. A valid North Carolina or South Carolina driver’s license is required.
