Transitioning from military to civilian life brings unique challenges, and for many veterans, substance use and mental health concerns can make that transition even more difficult. Whether you’re dealing with combat-related trauma, chronic pain, PTSD, or simply trying to find your place after service, you don’t have to face these challenges alone.
Anuvia is here to serve those who have served. From initial assessments to comprehensive treatment programs, our veteran-focused services recognize the unique experiences and needs of military service members. Below we discuss common challenges veterans face, explain the programs Anuvia offers, and include resources specifically designed for veterans in crisis.

Our Seeking Safety group (Mondays, 10:00-11:30 AM) is designed specifically for adults with trauma or PTSD. Using evidence-based curriculum, participants learn coping skills, self-soothing techniques, and strategies to reduce trauma symptoms. Available both in-person and virtually.
Service affects the whole family. We offer family therapy to help repair relationships, improve communication, and build a strong support system for your recovery.
For veterans managing mental health conditions, chronic pain, or needing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders, our medical team provides comprehensive medication management services.
We connect you with community resources including housing assistance, employment services, VA benefits navigation, and other supports you may need.
