WBTV’s Steve Crump

Tables and seats are now available for the 25th anniversary of our Annual Anuvia Awards Luncheon.

WBTV’s Steve Crump will be our emcee and we will be awarding the Urban Ministry Center with the Martha Bedell Alexander Award for their working helping homeless alcoholics and drug addicts regain their lives.

Betsy Ragone, who started Michael’s Voice, after she lost her 30-year-old son to a heroin overdose in 2016, is being recognized with the Pioneer Award.

Chris Love, a 23-year-old in recovery for three years, will share his story.

Anuvia’s unique role in Mecklenburg County is welcoming a variety of individuals who face barriers to substance abuse care due to lack of insurance, those covered by Medicaid or who fail to qualify for Medicaid, or have no financial means to pay for their needed services. Events like this allow us to celebrate recovery initiatives, recognize people who are making a difference in the fight, and continue making a difference in our community.

A table for ten is $475 and a seat is $50. You may pay for your table/seats through the Make a Payment or Donation button on this website.

Special thanks to our sponsors: Dominion Diagnostics, Fifth Third Bank, Hood Hargett, Larry and Debbie Snider, Mako Medical, Mediware, Mutual of America, Technocom, Ted Loring Consulting, and Wells Fargo.
